006 [Action] You're Invited!

[A lot has happened lately, and Estelle knows that she's not the only one that needs her spirits lifted. Thus she has decided upon a date for the tea party that her and Susanne Fabre had been planning before Susanne's departure.

With a list of names of those she wishes to invite, Estelle has made some little flowery invitation cards. She's now going around town, handing out those invitations in person. They're all ladies that she's friends with or have met and would like to get to know better.

Her list looks something like this:

If they're not at home, Estelle will track them down wherever they are. To make sure that everyone gets an invitation. Each invitation has the name of the person, the time/date, and place of the tea party. All written with Estelle's elegant hand writing. She's put a lot of thought and effort into this, so hopefully many of them will be able to come.]

((OOC: Feel free to run across Estelle while she's handing these out. You don't have to be one of the invited ones to talk to her! Who knows, she might invite you as well, provided you're a girl. The date of the tea party is November 13 at 2pm. The location is the Tea House, and there will be a log! Also, if you have CR with Estelle and your name isn't on that list... I've probably forgotten you. If that's the case, sorry! Just give me a poke and I'll add you to the list.))

[Well, Ran Fan is home, so she'll be answering the door when Estelle comes over.]

Estelle? Is everything alright? [She tends to think the worst, so something must be wrong.]

[When Ran Fan answers the door, she is greeted with a bright smile from Estelle.]

Of course! Here, this is for you.

[Estelle then holds out a small pink invitation card with Ran Fan's name on it.]

[You can go ahead and knock on Rita's door, Estelle, but you won't get an answer.]

[And knock she does. Whens he doesn't get an answer though, she frowns softly. Is Rita not there? ... She tries again.]

Rita? ... Rita are you there?

[Pinkie opens the door the moment Estelle knocks, grinning wide.]

Hiya, Estelle! I was just working on a new cupcake recipe. This one is going to be extra-super sweet! [Giggle.] What's up?

[There is continued silence, but after a few minutes, there is the sound of a crash.]

[Bending down to Pinkie's level, Estelle hands the invitation to her.]

You're invited to a tea party next week! Maybe you could bring some cupcakes?

[Estelle blinks at the sound of the crash. Now she's a little worried.]

Rita are you all right in there? ... I'm coming in!

[She hates barging in but well... And so Estelle tries to open the door. However, there's a bit of resistance. Putting her shoulder into it, she forces it open... only to end up staring at a wall of... stuff. Which promptly starts sliding now that there's nothing holding it up.]

AAAH!

[Estelle's shriek is quickly cut off with another crash as an avalanche of books falls upon her.]

[Well, that scream is definitely something that can pull you out of a good book. Rita picks up her head, swiveling her chair in the direction of the doorway. All she could see is patches of pink sticking out against a pile of dusty old books. She gasps lightly, getting out of the chair and wading through the piles of books that happened to not have fallen over, to check on her friend.]

Estelle! Are you okay?

[Pinkie leans upwards towards Estelle, taking the invitation gently in her mouth. She moves into the kitchen, setting it down on the table and giving it a quick read.]

Ohhmygosh! I'd love to come! You know I can't say no to a party.

[childofthefullmoon]

[The book pile shifts a bit and soon Estelle's head emerges with a wince.]

Ow.

[Then Rita appears and... oh good she's okay. ... What was she doing in there?]

I-I'm fine.

[childofthefullmoon]

[Estelle follows her inside and clasps her hands happily.]

Wonderful! This will be so much fun!

[Action]

[Estelle can knock on Patty's door if she wants, but Patty won't be there. She is, in fact, sitting on the tireswing just outside the house. The same tireswing she was in when Estelle first arrived in Luceti. As much as she tries to keep her cheerful attitude, Raven's departure is hitting her a little harder than she'd like.

She's swinging back and forth, back and forth... Staring listlessly at the ground before her.]

[When Estelle does find her, she stands several paces away for a few moments with a worried look. That's right... Raven was the only one that remembered her. Estelle felt... kinda guilty about not being about to remember her back home. Yet, she knew she couldn't help that. Eventually she approaches.]

Patty? Are you all right?

[Action]

[Cheria is home, but she hadn't been expecting company. When she answers the door, it's with a look of confusion and a dish cloth slung over her shoulder. While the cloth can't be helped, the confusion turns to a warm smile.]

Oh... Estelle. Good afternoon.

[Estelle is wearing a bright smile the moment Cheria opens the door.]

Hello, Cheria! This is for you. I have one for Sophie and Pascal as well.

[Estelle hands Cheria a little pink invitation card. And true to her word, she's got two others with Sophie and Pascal's names on them.]

[She huffs, reaching down and helping her pink-haired friend to her feet.]

This is why it's important to knock before entering.

Defina-tively posi-ultely! [She grins happily, hopping over to a tray of cupcakes and moving it to the table.]

Here, try one! I'll bring a bunch to the party, if you like them.

[Appreciating the help, Estelle gets back to her feet and dusts herself off a bit.]

I... I did knock! Twice! ... What were you doing?

[She blinks. She knocked... twice?]

I was reading. I guess I didn't hear you.

Oh...

[Well she definitely can't be upset at that. Estelle tends to tune things out when she's reading too.]

Oh! ... Here this is for- [Estelle pulls out a card that now has a bent corner thanks to the avalanche. She takes a moment to straight it as best she can before handing it to Rita.]

[She looks down at it, reading it over.]

A tea party? [Not exactly something she would get excited over, herself, but Estelle definitely would. There's no way she could say no, even if she wanted to.]

I guess you're gonna need help setting it up, huh?

[Estelle picks up one of the cupcakes and takes a bite. Her eyes widen a bit. They're definitely sweet! Very sweet! But still very very good.]

Pinkie, this is delicious!

[Estelle blinks. She hadn't planned on asking Rita to help, but her friend was practically offering.]

Would you mind? That would be wonderful, Rita!

[If Estelle is looking for Adele in the Clinic- she'll not find her. There will be a note taped to her office door that she won't be in for an indefinite period of time and that she can be found either in the Library or house 44 depending upon the time of day. In the mornings, she's in the library. Afternoon and evenings, she's at home.]
