004 [Action] (Backdated to Sept 1st)

[After the Kin'Corans had left and the power cap was back to normal, Estelle found herself waking up in her room. Last thing she remembered was being in the smithy, healing Yuri's wounds, when she had collapsed.

The girl sits up on her bed, lifting a hand to her forehead as she foggy memories start to catch up with her. That's right, she'd spent a lot of time running to and fro, healing people. It had... really taken a lot out of her. She supposes she must have overdone it. Also, she was really... -really- hungry.

Not knowing how long she was out, or the physical state she's in, Estelle decides to get up.

Moving to stand, Estelle quickly finds this to be a poor decision as her strength is just, not there. There's a loud thud that can probably be heard throughout the house as the girl hits the floor, followed by a moan and some mumbling]

[Later on that day, after Estelle has eaten and regained some of her strength, she will be out and about for a walk. Granted she's taking it easy, and was specifically told to not go too far or to use her powers. Thus she'll just be making a quick trip around the block as it were, not going any farther then the two bridges closest to House 12.]

[Estelle knows that Yuri is bad with his feelings, and really she wouldn't expect him to console her. But having him there just to talk to is enough. She really doesn't want to be alone right now.

So when Yuri calls out, she snaps out of her thoughts and quickly replies.]

Yes, I'm coming!

[Carefully this time, she stands up again. She's light headed and weak but at least she didn't stand up too quickly this time. It takes her a couple minutes, but eventually she joins Yuri in the next room and sits down at the table.]

[That surprises him a little, as he was originally heading back to her room to help her get to the table. But hey, if she can do it herself, that's even better. So, once it's clear she can make it over on her own, he'll go back to the kitchen. That stew is probably starting to smell awfully nice at this point, too.]

You feeling any better so far? I mean, aside from being hungry and worn out. [It did sound like she hit that floor pretty hard :|a]

A little, yes. I'm still a bit dizzy though. I think I stood up too fast.

[Not to mention she'll probably have some bruises from that fall.]

How long was I asleep?

Almost three days. We were starting to get a little worried that it might've been something else that caused that to happen.

[With "a little" being Yuri-talk for "very" - for him, anyway. Especially once it hit day three.]

[Three days? Estelle's eyes go wide in surprise. That definitely would explain the weakness.]

That long? I'm so sorry to have worried you.

You couldn't help how long you were out. Don't worry about it.

[He'll give her a small smirk in the hopes that she'll understand that it's not something she needs to apologize for.]

[She was doing it again wasn't she? Although it wasn't so much an apology as she just... felt sorry for causing worry. Or something. She smiles though.]

Yes, that's true. Did I miss anything?

Not very much, aside from those refugees leaving. Things have been pretty quiet, otherwise.

They left?

[Estelle isn't sure whether to be relieved or worried.]

I wonder what happened to them.

From what I heard, they went back to whatever enclosure they came from. That's all we've been told, though.

[There's an underlying tone of "good riddance" in there somewhere. He didn't hate the refugees, and knows not all of them were bad, but he sure as hell didn't have good experiences with the ones he ran into.

But regardless, that stew is heated up and such now. He'll start getting to work with getting a bowl and spoon out, as well as getting some of that stew into said bowl.]

I see.

[It was sad to see the state the refugees had been in, and hear about how much harder they had it than they. It was so unfair, but there was nothing to be done about it.

As Yuri goes back to fetch the stew, she finally catches a whiff.]

That smells delicious.

Heh, I bet anything would. [Not like the stew's bad, but she was out for days without food. But anyway, he'll bring the bowl and spoon over and set it on the table.] There. It shouldn't be too hot, but be careful with it anyway.

[Isn't that the truth. She's pretty darn hungry, and when Yuri sets down the stew in front of her, she wants to just gobble it up. But she knows better, especially since it's hot.]

Thank you, Yuri.

[With that she dips out some stew with the spoon and blows on it before putting in her mouth. She's always been rather neutral when it comes to Cream Stew, but today it tastes so good. ;_; So it doesn't take her long to finish the bowl. Not leaving any time for words since she's just that hungry.]

Mmm. That was wonderful. Can I have some more please?

I had a feeling you'd say that.

[Welp, taking the bowl and spooning out some more stew. Sure, they're totally not going to get a second dinner out of whatever's left of this stew at this point, but whatever. It's not like it's being wasted.

Anyway! Placing the refilled bowl down again.]

Don't eat it so fast this time. You're just gonna feel sick later if you do.

[Estelle beams brightly as Yuri fetches her some more stew. Now that her stomach has some food in it though, she's content to eat slower, and does so. Thus this leaves opportunity for a little more conversation.]

Yuri... you came from a point later on in our journey, right? ... What became of the Adephagos?

[She had been wondering this for some time now.]

We're still in the middle of taking it down, so I can't say just yet. If all goes well, though, that thing won't be a problem for anyone anymore.

Oh good, I'm glad. That gives me hope for our future.

[Not that she really doubted it, but to know that it was possible to defeat it, is definitely good news.]

Heh ... Well, hopefully things go the way we need them to. I don't see why they wouldn't, though.

[Not that he thinks Duke will go "oh ok :( " when they finally get to talk to him, but Yuri's definitely confident he can stop him.]

I'm certain they will. If we have gotten that far, then I know we can do it.

[She takes a moment to have another spoonful of stew.]

But... it's still so strange. How you remember more than I do. That I was brought from your past.

It is pretty strange when you think about it, but you get used to it when you're here long enough. I'm not so sure if that's a good thing, though.

Yes. I'm... not sure I want to get use to this. To living here.

Yuri, you've been here so long. How do you do it?

I try to keep myself busy. It's hard to sit around and mope about something when you've got better things to do.

You do spend a lot of time at the battle dome, and with Brave Vesperia. Maybe I need something to do, too.

You could always work with the library, if you want. From what I remember of that place, it's always been pretty understaffed.

Really? Maybe that would be a good idea. I've considered the clinic as well, but there seems to be no shortage of healers.
