001 [Action] - Intro

[ Estelle didn't exactly wake up in the most comfortable position. She was sprawled on the floor of the library, face down. Eventually she started to stir and groaned a little before pushing herself up into a sitting position. Kneeling, with her hands folded in her lap, the girl blinked a few times as she began to look around. This was an unfamiliar place, and yet not unpleasant, since she was surrounded by books. Confusion was written all over her features as she attempted to get her bearings. Just where was she anyway? Her mind was foggy and she was generally disoriented. Not to mention she looked a little silly just sitting there, having absolutely no clue what was going on. It finally occurred to her that she should maybe look around. Standing up, she took a few steps forward and peeked around a bookcase.]

Aye, you got it! I'll show you exactly where you need to go! The store's not too far from here.

[She takes a few steps away from the house and in the general direction of the plaza, expecting Estelle to follow.]

Wonderful!

[And follow she does! She walks alongside Patty, clasping her hands in front of her.]

This village is so quaint. [It wasn't all that bad for a virtual prison.]

It's more like a temporary home, but lots of people have settled down here with a long-term future in mind anyway. But I don't think I can sit still that long, ya know. I'm too used to traveling to drop my anchor anywhere for too long.

[This thought bothered her a little bit. Was there really so little hope of going home? Or was it just that nice here? She doubted that last sentiment a bit since there have been people who have told her otherwise.]

What do you plan to do?

I think I'll stay with you guys a while longer, then get myself a boat and explore the ocean for a bit. From what I've heard, there's nothing out there, but no ocean is one of a kind! I have to see it all with my own eyes.

[Because when she said she can't sit still for too long, she meant it literally. Even if they can't leave the barrier, she can't stay cooped up inside the house forever. She needs to travel, even if it's just one side of their 'prison' to another.]/small>

That sounds like quite an adventure. You will come and visit now and then, right? I want to hear all about what you see!

Of course! You're my friends, so you're the first to hear all about my grand adventures, ya know!

[The idea of exploration was starting to pique her curiosity. And so she mused to herself.]

I wonder what's out there.

No treasure, or so I've been told. But I won't believe it until I see it! Treasure is treasure as long as it has some kind of value, so it's more than just gold and other expensive trinkets.

That's true. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So what one would consider worthless, another would see as treasure.

[By this point they were approaching the shops and Estelle was looking at the buildings with mounting interest as they passed.]

Aye, that's right! Never underestimate the power of sentimental value and personal taste!

[Patty is now heading straight for the clothes store. She assumes that's the first thing Estelle will want to retrieve, what with her being a Princess and all. Weapons and other belongings will come after.]

[As Estelle follows Patty into the clothing store, her mind boggles at the abundance of outfits and various clothing pieces to choose from. Being stuck in a castle most of her life, she didn't exactly have the opportunity to shop for her own clothes. People did that for her.]

O-oh... There's so much here!

[Could they possibly find her outfit amongst all this?]

There sure is! I'll bet you can find a new outfit for every day of the year! But some of these probably belong to other people, so we can't just take everything, ya know.

[... Who would want -that- many clothes? Granted she had a lot of clothes back home but... every day of the year? Well... she might actually have enough for that. But shh.]

Oh yes, of course. I wouldn't want to take anyone else's clothes.

[Really she just wants her own for right now. Plus Yuri said there were other clothes in her room from... before.

Thus Estelle goes to where several dresses are hanging and starts riffling through them. Looking for white and pink.]

[Patty starts searching the clothes as well, keeping an eye out for that familiar poofy dress.]

There's changing rooms in the back, if you want to change into your dress right away!

Oh! I've found it!

[Sure enough, Estelle pulls out a familiar poofy and not-so-subtle pink and white dress. However, the other pieces of the outfit don't seem to be with it. They must be somewhere else around here?]

Great! I'll keep a look out for your boots! [Meanwhile, she's rifling through underwear. She grabs hold of a white bra with lace trim and holds it up for Estelle to see.]

Is this your size, or is it too big? [Yes, she just asked that loud enough for anyone else in the store to hear. Should there be anyone else. The place seems abandoned.]

[The question is a little startling and Estelle turns to see a brassiere being held up in Patty's hands. Her cheeks turn a little pink, but they were both girls, so it was okay. She leans over to get a better look.]

I think it's about right. [She will know for sure when she puts it on.]

[Something near the underwear then catches her eye. A pair of black leggings.]

Oh! This is perfect!

[Patty puts the bra down again for Estelle to retrieve, then continues to search through the extensive wardrobe. When she encounters a red beret, she removes her own hat and puts it aside, replacing it with the beret. After a few moments of examining herself in the mirror, she decides she doesn't like the effect and tosses the beret back where she found it.]

It's like this place has a little bit of everything.

[Estelle doesn't notice Patty's adventure with the red beret. Mostly because she's riffling through the underwear now too and comes across something rather... surprising. She picks up a g-string with a color that closely resembles that hat. She blinks at it, her blush renewed.]

Oh. Oh my.

[People wear these things?]

[Patty looks up from a pair of fingerless gloves with anchors embroidered on the back to see what Estelle is holding. ... Wait, are those...]

Eesh! That looks painful! It must be tighter than a salmon net on a shark!

Y-yes... it does.

[She quickly drops it and instead picks up something that closely matched the bra. AHEM. Anyway. Back to the search.]

[Meanwhile, Patty pockets the gloves (surely, nobody will miss these) and continues her search as well.]

Ooohhh, I found your boots! I'll put them near the changing room, okay?

[Estelle is already heading in that direction now that she has the most essential pieces of her outfit. She glances over her shoulder as Patty announces finding her boots.]

Oh, thank you! I'll be right back.

[She then disappears into the changing room. In a few minutes she eventually emerges, looking more like her normal self and feeling much better now that she's in her own clothes. Picking up her boots, she takes a seat on a nearby bench and slips them on.]

Hm... I think all I need are my gloves and... Oh! My bracelet! [Her fake blastia in other words.]

[Ohh, that's much better. Patty's so used to seeing Estelle in her vibrant, poofy dress, it was a little odd seeing her without it. She smiles brightly.]

I'll bet the gloves are around here somewhere! Not sure about the bracelet... It doesn't really count as clothes, ya know. It's more like jewelry.
