001 [Action] - Intro

[ Estelle didn't exactly wake up in the most comfortable position. She was sprawled on the floor of the library, face down. Eventually she started to stir and groaned a little before pushing herself up into a sitting position. Kneeling, with her hands folded in her lap, the girl blinked a few times as she began to look around. This was an unfamiliar place, and yet not unpleasant, since she was surrounded by books. Confusion was written all over her features as she attempted to get her bearings. Just where was she anyway? Her mind was foggy and she was generally disoriented. Not to mention she looked a little silly just sitting there, having absolutely no clue what was going on. It finally occurred to her that she should maybe look around. Standing up, she took a few steps forward and peeked around a bookcase.]

[ Having take over the library for Estelle who has recently since gone it was a bit of a surprise to see someone vaguely similar to her peering around a bookcase. Helios was just in the middle of putting some books away when her question startles him a little. And then he recognizes her oh, derp, she is Estelle good job Helios. ] E-Estelle?

[Big green eyes blinked before Estelle decided to emerge from behind the bookcase.]

Yes?

[It took her a moment, but she soon realized she didn't know this person. Her thought process was still running a little slow. Yet he seemed to know her name.]

I'm sorry, but do I know you?

[ Helios' eyes widen a little at the lack of recognition. No. No. Of course things like this were bound to happen even if it's something that wasn't always fair or right. He lets out a small sigh as he shakes his head. ] S-Sorry I-I didn't mean to startle you. But, w-well it's going to sound strange but...you were here once before.

[ He'll look away and then back at Estelle shrugging a little. The information was always jarring no matter what way you put it. ] You, um, g-gave me the keys to this library actually.

[Estelle gave a tilt of her head, confusion clearly written all over her face.]

Huh? I... I don't understand.

[She was pretty positive she'd never met then man before. Surely she would remember giving someone the keys to a library... but this wasn't even a library she was familiar with!]

[ Helios gives Estelle an apologetic smile. ] It's, it's a bit complicated I-I'm afraid. The guide in the-the journal you woke up with has all the information you might need. But p-people...can arrive and leave here multiple t-times. Yourself happened to b-be one of them.

[ He'll look away for a second before smiling sadly and continuing. ] S-Sometimes people retain their memories of this place and other times they do not.

[Journal she woke up with? Estelle looks around before spotting a book on the floor. She stoops down and picks it up before turning back towards the stammering man.]

You mean this?

[She pauses, seeing the sad smile, and her heart aches a little. She doesn't completely understand, and this is all very confusing... but she still feels bad for making someone sad.]

Would you mind telling me your name?

Yes, um, that's exactly it!

[ Helios nods and looks back at her apologetically. ] Oh! I'm, ah, H-Helios. Helios Sprensonne.

[Oh hey, the book even has her name on it. Which she just now notices.]

It's nice to meet you, Helios. [Again?]

[ Helios smiles and nods before looking around the library and then back at Estelle. There's a thoughtful expression on his features as he looks towards the doors leading outside. ] Do you...need any assistance with anything? Ah th-there's a shop outside a-and places to get clothes and food if you need anything.

[Estelle also paused thoughtfully for a moment.]

Well, you said this book has all the information I need, right? I think it might be best if I read it first. You have been helpful, Helios. Thank you very much. If I need anything, I'll let you know.

[ Helios nods. ] That's fine. I-I'll just leave you then to your reading. I'll be around the stacks if-if you need any help with anything.

[Estelle bows politely]

Thank you, again.

[He seems like a very nice man. Maybe she can get to know him better sometime. With that she takes her journal to a table to start reading.]
