childofthefullmoon | 004 [Action] (Backdated to Sept 1st)

[After the Kin'Corans had left and the power cap was back to normal, Estelle found herself waking up in her room. Last thing she remembered was being in the smithy, healing Yuri's wounds, when she had collapsed.

The girl sits up on her bed, lifting a hand to her forehead as she foggy memories start to catch up with her. That's right, she'd spent a lot of time running to and fro, healing people. It had... really taken a lot out of her. She supposes she must have overdone it. Also, she was really... -really- hungry.

Not knowing how long she was out, or the physical state she's in, Estelle decides to get up.

Moving to stand, Estelle quickly finds this to be a poor decision as her strength is just, not there. There's a loud thud that can probably be heard throughout the house as the girl hits the floor, followed by a moan and some mumbling]

[Later on that day, after Estelle has eaten and regained some of her strength, she will be out and about for a walk. Granted she's taking it easy, and was specifically told to not go too far or to use her powers. Thus she'll just be making a quick trip around the block as it were, not going any farther then the two bridges closest to House 12.]

[He picks out an apple from his basket and offers it to her. It's still a rather tentative gesture, since he hasn't even introduced himself. He's not entirely sure that what he's doing is not rude.]

You looked a little down. Are you okay?

For me? Thank you very much.

[Estelle takes the apple and smiles before giving a shake of her head.]

I'm fine, just... tired.

[His eyes light up when she accepts it. At least he feels like he didn't do anything terribly wrong.]

Tired?

[Estelle looks down at the apple in her hands for a few moments, a bit hesitant.]

It's... a long story.

[Instinctively sensing the reluctance, Tsuzuki picks an apple of his own and takes a bite.]

I like long stories.

[Estelle is quiet for a few moments. Should she really get into it? She wasn't sure she was comfortable telling someone she had just met about... everything.]

I'm a healer, and while the Kin'Corans were here, I guess I overdid it.

[Although she looks a bit sad about this fact, staring at the apple some more. The circumstances surrounding why that is, are not exactly pleasant ones. She then looks up and smiles, hoping to direct the topic away from that.]

[He bows, finally falling back into his courteous habits. Luceti has been bad for his manners.]

[Estelle smiles and returns the polite bow.]

[He gets the strangest sense of deja vu at that.]

Estelle, huh? Do you know someone named Draco?

[There's a confused look at that question.]

I think I remember an Estelle from long ago. She really liked books.

[There is a long pause and she again looks down.]

That may have been me. I've been told that I was here before, but I don't remember it.

That's normal. Only a few people remember it, it seems. [He smiles softly, looking up as they're walking past a flock of birds. Tsuzuki gets easily distracted.]

Do you still like books, then?

So it would seem.

[Yuri remembered his time here, after all. She had to wonder though, what it had been like for him. As they pass the birds, she takes a moment to look at them. As she hears the question though, her attention goes back to Tsuzuki]

Oh yes, very much so. Do you?

[One of the smaller sparrows flies down and looks like it considers landing on Estelle's head, before it loses its courage and flies back. Tsuzuki watches with amusement.]

A little. My partner loved the library, though. Used to even sleep in it, if he could.

[Estelle blinks as she catches movement out of the corner of her eye, looking up just in time to see the sparrow fly away. She looks a little disappointed. Animals are just... not fond of her it seems.]

Use to?

[He made it sound like his partner wasn't around anymore.]

[Tsuzuki runs his fingers through his hair, looking uncomfortable. He's recently had a fight with said partner, and it still bothers him.]

After we moved, I think he stopped.

Oh.

[She can see his discomfort and isn't sure what to say. Perhaps it would be best to change the subject?]

So, how long have you been here? In Luceti, I mean.

[That's so sweet of her! He jumps at the opportunity.]

A couple of years now. I thought for sure that it wouldn't last more than a few months.

Have you settled in alright? I know there's a lot of empty houses.

[Oh, so he's been here just about as long as Yuri? That seems like such a long time.]

Yes, thank you. I live with my friends in House 12.

[It's a very long time. It feels even longer if one has to experience it.]

I live at 25 right now. How big is 12? Does it have a fireplace?
