008 [Video] Silent Return

[Some time in the late afternoon, Estelle wakes up to find herself sprawled on the snowy forest floor of Luceti. Dazed and confused, she pushes herself up and looks around. Immediately the chill hits her and she holds her arms close, shivering at a passing wind. She tries to to her feet, but dizziness quickly hits and she's on her knees once again. Its then that she sees her journal beside her.

Somewhere in her muddled thoughts she knows to open it and triggers the video feed. Those watching will see a pink haired girl with lips that are turning blue and chattering teeth. She tries to speak, but only a raspy little squeal manages to escape her throat. Green eyes widen in alarm as she tries again, but with the same results. Her hands quickly cover her mouth in shock, and in the next moment she starts waving them frantically at her journal.

Not knowing where she is or what else to do, she hopes that someone gets the message. She could really use some help right now.]

((OOC: Estelle is back from her mallynap and is temporarily mute. She's ended up in the woods not too far from the Lake House, so she's not very far from the village, but far enough to not know where she is.))

[Estelle took the pen, but still looks uncertain as she nods. Opening her journal, she uses some of the paper to answer his question. "Estelle" she writes, before showing it to him.]

[He reads the name and nods.]

My name is Alexei. As an Imperial Knight, it's my duty to help others in need. So can you tell me what happened? Are you unharmed at least?

[Estelle gives Alexei a faint, half-hearted smile. She already knows his name of course, but he apparently doesn't know that. This isn't the Alexei she'd come to fear. He was... different. In fact, his words reminded her a lot of Flynn. She then begins to write again.

"I was kidnapped, but I'm okay now."

Relatively speaking of course. Aside from her voice, and being incredibly weak and tired, she was indeed unharmed.]

Kidnapped? By who? [Noo one's told him about mallynaps yet. |D

...Noting the fact she was shaking a little from the cold, he'll take his cloak off and place it around her shoulders.]

[Estelle starts writing again, but is stopped midway when the cloak is placed on her shoulders. She blinks and stares in confusion for a few moments. This is just... very odd for her. She eventually smiles faintly and then shows Alexei what she had written. "Malnosso."]

[A frown.] I wasn't aware they kidnapped people too.

[He takes a step back when he felt something walk over his foot. Oh, right this cat.] You're still here? I told you, I don't have anything for you.

[You should take notes Alexei. Kidnapping is in your future.

Estelle looks down solemnly at that, and it's then that she notices the cat at Alexei's feet. She remembers this particular feline, but his owner obviously doesn't. The girl bends down, holding her hand out to him. Maybe this time he won't hate her?]

[The cat is still trying to get Alexei's attention when Estelle knelt down to try and pet him. One look and he was hiding behind Alexei, poking his head out at her. Alexei just watches the fail interaction.]

He's been following me for a while and I can't get rid of him. I don't know if he has an owner or not.

[He takes a step away and the cat just looks up at Alexei, puzzled.] Anyway, we should get you back to the village.

[Just as before, Estelle looks crestfallen by the kitty's rejection. She stands up again and nods. Yes, she would like to get back to the village and out of the cold. Even though being taken back by... Alexei, was pretty weird.]
