[Some time in the late afternoon, Estelle wakes up to find herself sprawled on the snowy forest floor of Luceti. Dazed and confused, she pushes herself up and looks around. Immediately the chill hits her and she holds her arms close, shivering at a passing wind. She tries to to her feet, but dizziness quickly hits and she's on her knees once again. Its then that she sees her journal beside her.

Somewhere in her muddled thoughts she knows to open it and triggers the video feed. Those watching will see a pink haired girl with lips that are turning blue and chattering teeth. She tries to speak, but only a raspy little squeal manages to escape her throat. Green eyes widen in alarm as she tries again, but with the same results. Her hands quickly cover her mouth in shock, and in the next moment she starts waving them frantically at her journal.

Not knowing where she is or what else to do, she hopes that someone gets the message. She could really use some help right now.]

((OOC: Estelle is back from her mallynap and is temporarily mute. She's ended up in the woods not too far from the Lake House, so she's not very far from the village, but far enough to not know where she is.))

[Estelle takes the pen and nods her agreement. That sounds like a good idea.]

[Nooo Estelle why'd you close the journal? Now Patty won't know what's going on over there until she actually gets there.

She rushes over to the fort and arrives there in a matter of minutes, then steps into the teleporter without hesitation. Still, now it's just a matter of finding out where Estelle is. Easier said than done. There's no choice but for her to search the village and hope they're close to the plaza.]

[Oops. Well, Estelle doesn't see herself as being particularly in danger at the moment anyway. Despite the awkwardness of the situation. She follows Alexei back into the village, where they end up waiting for Patty outside of the barracks. Estelle sits in uncomfortable silence, doing her best to stay warm with the cloak Alexei had given her. But really, she has no choice but to be silent anyway.]

[The moment Patty exits the barracks, her eyes fall on Estelle and Alexei. Looks like she won't have to search the village anyway! She dashes over to them as fast as her legs can carry her.]

Estelle!

[Hearing Patty's voice, Estelle looks up and stands quickly. Estelle is very happy to see her as evidenced by the look of relief on her face. Looking between Patty and Alexei, Estelle isn't sure what she would say even if she could.]

[Alexei remain quiet and attentive while they waited for Patty. Which wasn't for very long and he watches them greet each other for a moment before actually saying something.]

She's a little cold, but she's all right for the most part. [She looked to the young girl, but there was no recognition.] I think the Malnosso did something to her voice.

[Patty makes a quick note of the fact that Estelle's wearing a cloak that appears to be too big for her, but doesn't comment on it. Nor will she give Alexei any sort of greeting. Her gaze is on Estelle when she speaks.]

Then, I should take her home right now. It's the best place for her to recover.

[Estelle glances between Patty and Alexei uncomfortably before taking off the cloak and offering it back to him with a bow of gratitude. Its his after all, but she's still thankful for his kindness.]

[His eyes narrow slightly. The way Patty was acting towards him was...troubling. It's not like they were back home right now where people were distrustful of the knights. So what did he exactly do here to merit that attitude? He looks to Estelle who was returning the cloak to him.]

You can hold onto it. Return it to me when you're feeling better. You know how to reach me. [He bows to them both and then takes his leave. He'll just ask his question at a later time.]

[The moment Alexei begins to walk away, Patty turns her head to watch him from the corner of her eye. Even if Alexei's forgotten all the horrible things he's done, she hasn't. She'll never forget again. Friendly as he may be to Estelle, Patty refuses to associate with a man like that any more than necessary.

Once he's out of earshot, she breathes a loud sigh.]

Of all the people to find you... You have some really rotten luck, ya know.

[Well then. Estelle just holds onto the cloak and bows politely. However, when Alexei is gone, Estelle breathes a sigh in unison with Patty. That was... a strange experience. At Patty's comment though, she has to nod. She really does have bad luck, doesn't she? Maybe Yuri's misfortunes have rubbed off on her.]

You look worse for wear than a beached mermaid on a hot day, ya know. You can tell me all about what the deal is with Alexei when you've had some rest. ... Or write about it, anyway. [She reaches out to take Estelle's hand in her own and lead her back to the house.]

[Estelle slumps her shoulders at that. Yes, she knew she probably looked horrible. She felt horrible too. Estelle nods, agreeing to telling Patty about Alexei. Using one hand to hold the cloak to her, and letting her friend take the other, she follows Patty back to the house.]

[Patty won't say much on the way back to the house. She's decided not to bring up Rita's departure until Estelle's had a good rest at the very least. Until then, she's a little lost for words.]
