001 [Action] - Intro

[ Estelle didn't exactly wake up in the most comfortable position. She was sprawled on the floor of the library, face down. Eventually she started to stir and groaned a little before pushing herself up into a sitting position. Kneeling, with her hands folded in her lap, the girl blinked a few times as she began to look around. This was an unfamiliar place, and yet not unpleasant, since she was surrounded by books. Confusion was written all over her features as she attempted to get her bearings. Just where was she anyway? Her mind was foggy and she was generally disoriented. Not to mention she looked a little silly just sitting there, having absolutely no clue what was going on. It finally occurred to her that she should maybe look around. Standing up, she took a few steps forward and peeked around a bookcase.]

[It isn't until after she's done talking with Yuri that Estelle actually comes out of the house again. She has clothes to retrieve after all, but the girl in the swing does catch her attention. Walking over, she stops a few feet away, watching. Well... it looks like she's having fun! Estelle raises her hand as if to say something, but isn't sure what to say or if the girl will even hear her, so she puts it down again.]

[After a few seconds, the spinning starts to slow down. Then, when Patty spots a familiar mop of pink hair, she digs her feet into the ground to bring the tire to an abrupt stop.]

Estelle! [She hops out of the tire in hopes of going to greet Estelle, only to lose her balance from all the spinning. She staggers a few steps to the left, then stumbles a few steps to the right... And finally she falls to her knees.]

Whoooh...~ Just gimme a second, ya know... Everything's spinning.

[Estelle was starting to get use to strangers knowing who she was, and this was no different when the girl shouted out her name. Watching as Patty staggers, she giggles a little, kneeling down when the other girl falls over. There is still laughter in her voice when she speaks.]

Oh, are you all right?

[She sits back on her knees and smiles up at Estelle, totally oblivious that she's in the same situation as Yuri when it comes to memories from back home.]

I'm fine, I'm fine! You know it'll take more than this to take the wind out of my sails. When did you get here?

[Again she giggles. This girl is really very cute!]

Just today. Your name is Patty, right? [Yuri told her.]

Aye!~ [She smiles brightly for a few seconds, before it hits her.] ... Why are you asking?

Oh, well. I'm afraid I've never met you. Yuri told me your name.

Oh, that's... Is that so? [Two of her friends don't remember her... The concept is a little difficult for her to grasp.]

[Seeing Patty's sadness makes Estelle feel more than a little bad, even though there's nothing she can do about it.]

I... I'm sorry.

[She's silent for a few more seconds, but then she shakes her head and tries to smile up at Estelle again.]

No, it's all right! If you don't have any memories of me, then... We'll just have to create new ones, right?

[Estelle smiles back at Patty.]

Yes of course! How about we start with a real introduction?

[She offers her hand to Patty.]

My name is Estelle.

[Patty finally hops to her feet and gives that hand a firm, enthusiastic shake.]

The name's Patty Fleur! Adventurer, treasure hunter and generally cute girl!

[Another giggle as she shakes Patty's hand.]

It's wonderful to meet you! I'm certain we'll be great friends.

[Estelle was definitely believing the cute part. Patty is so adorable!]

Aye, we will be! So when did you get here?

Just today, actually. [Which was probably pretty obvious since she was still wearing her newfeather clothes.]

What about you?

Three days ago, on the mark! I'm not as settled in as the old man, just yet.

So you're new here, too.

[Didn't Yuri say he'd just arrived yesterday? And yet Raven said he's been here for years. Not to mention Yuri had been here before. How odd.]

I was about to go find my clothes.

[She stands up.]

Would you like to come with me? I don't know my way around yet.

Aye, you got it! I'll show you exactly where you need to go! The store's not too far from here.

[She takes a few steps away from the house and in the general direction of the plaza, expecting Estelle to follow.]

Wonderful!

[And follow she does! She walks alongside Patty, clasping her hands in front of her.]

This village is so quaint. [It wasn't all that bad for a virtual prison.]

It's more like a temporary home, but lots of people have settled down here with a long-term future in mind anyway. But I don't think I can sit still that long, ya know. I'm too used to traveling to drop my anchor anywhere for too long.

[This thought bothered her a little bit. Was there really so little hope of going home? Or was it just that nice here? She doubted that last sentiment a bit since there have been people who have told her otherwise.]

What do you plan to do?

I think I'll stay with you guys a while longer, then get myself a boat and explore the ocean for a bit. From what I've heard, there's nothing out there, but no ocean is one of a kind! I have to see it all with my own eyes.

[Because when she said she can't sit still for too long, she meant it literally. Even if they can't leave the barrier, she can't stay cooped up inside the house forever. She needs to travel, even if it's just one side of their 'prison' to another.]/small>

That sounds like quite an adventure. You will come and visit now and then, right? I want to hear all about what you see!

Of course! You're my friends, so you're the first to hear all about my grand adventures, ya know!

[The idea of exploration was starting to pique her curiosity. And so she mused to herself.]
